COVISIONS: YOUNG GLOBAL VOICES IN THE TIME OF CORONA is a series of short films made by emerging filmmakers from over 19 countries who share their gaze on their world during the height of the pandemic in 2020. A truly global panorama, COVISIONS is a kaleidoscopic, generational, and worldwide reflection of a defining moment for humanity everywhere.

COVISIONS had its world premiere at the Doc Edge Film Festival in New Zealand in June 2021.
Each filmmaker shares their unique perspective, at times humorous and always compelling. From their perches in Chile or Senegal, India or France, Lebanon, the U.S., China, Iran and beyond, we see what COVISIONS’ filmmakers see and experience what they experience, as each confronts fear, disrupted dreams, grief, and loneliness. Some find hope in surprising places, others bury themselves in their creative pursuits.
